Son Jover describes itself as a 'Formatgeria d'Autor' and works exclusively with autochthonous breeds raised in the heart of Mallorca. The small farm shop stocks cheese, yoghurt, and milk from both sheep and goats. Every variety of cheese is made entirely from animals kept on their own pastures, and the goat's milk in particular stands out — as does the yoghurt.

An Authentic Finca Operation

The farm is run as a true family venture, consciously combining organic agriculture with traditional regional craft. The grounds are surrounded by animals, and visits from schools and universities — during which the cheese-making process is explained in full — form a regular part of what Son Jover offers.
