Description

Forn de la Glòria is a traditional bakery in the heart of Palma's old town, crafting handmade bread and Mallorcan bakes since 1717.

A craft with centuries of history

Forn de la Glòria has been baking since 1717, with the Camps family at the helm since 1977. The wood-fired oven still sits visible inside the shop itself, and the interior transports visitors to a different era entirely. That wood fire gives every loaf and pastry a character you simply can't replicate any other way.

Ensaimadas, bread and Mallorcan specialities

The star of the show at Forn de la Glòria is the ensaimada — available in the classic style as well as filled with cream. Alongside it you'll find llonguets, spelt, rye and wholemeal loaves, and empanadas stuffed with meat, fish or vegetables. Traditional specialities are added to the range for seasonal Mallorcan celebrations. Every single item is made by hand, the artisan way.

Tucked into an old-town lane

The bakery is at Carrer del Forn de la Glòria 7 in the Centre quarter of Palma's old town — a narrow side street just a few minutes' walk from the main thoroughfare.
