Description
Forn de San Agustín is a bakery and pastry shop in Sant Agustí, run as a family business with its own in-house bakery since 1968, keeping traditional Mallorcan craft very much alive.
Ensaïmades, Panades and Mallorcan baking traditions
The heart of Forn de San Agustín is its ensaïmades: light, pillowy pastry spirals made in the bakery's own ovens and offered in a range of flavours including fig, apricot, cream, crema catalana, chocolate, meringue, angel hair and toasted cream. Alongside these, the shelves are stocked with classic Mallorcan staples: panades, cocarrois, coca de trampó, cocas de Sant Joan and llonguets. White loaves, dark bread and wholegrain varieties also come fresh from the in-house oven.
Family craft since 1968
The business was founded in 1968 and has remained a family operation ever since, producing everything to traditional recipes using carefully chosen ingredients. That homemade quality runs through the entire range — sweet and savoury alike — and is precisely what sets it apart from anything mass-produced.
Located in Sant Agustí
The bakery sits on Avinguda de Joan Miró 354 in the Ponent district of Sant Agustí. Card and contactless payments are accepted, and everything is available to take away.
