Craft Over Industry
Everything that comes out of the oven here is made the old-fashioned way — no industrial shortcuts. The bakery still uses wood-fired ovens, a quality that regulars and passing visitors alike hold dear. The range includes ensaimadas, empanadas, bread, croissants and cremadillos. The ensaimadas in particular — whether filled with crema, hazelnut cream or sobrasada — stand out as truly exceptional. The empanadas, especially the meat and pea variety, leave a lasting impression too.
A Bakery with History
The bakery first opened its doors in 1936, when Apol·lònia Vallbona and Pere Terrassa married and initially rented the premises of master baker Joan del Forn before buying them a few years later. It has been situated near the church of S'Alqueria Blanca ever since, preserving the character of a genuine village bakery — the kind that is becoming increasingly rare across Mallorca.
