Description
Forn Sant Francesc is a traditional bakery and patisserie in Inca, keeping Mallorcan baking craft alive since 1954.
A craft bakery since 1954
Forn Sant Francesc's roots stretch back to 1954. What began then has grown into a destination for anyone in search of Mallorcan baked goods in their most authentic form — handcrafted with traditional ingredients, yet held to a thoroughly modern standard of quality and presentation.
Ensaïmades, Doblegats and more
The heart of the offering is the ensaïmada — from the classic llisa to filled versions with Kinder, chocolate, angel hair and toasted cream. Forn Sant Francesc took first prize for the world's best ensaïmada in 2017. The doblegats are equally popular and widely regarded as a standout highlight. Alongside the sweet selection, the savoury range impresses too: empanadas, cocarrois and cocas all feature, as do almond biscuits and celebration cakes. The bread — including wood-fired loaves and sourdough — rounds off the range beautifully.
Location & getting there
The bakery is on Carrer de Sant Francesc 126 in Inca. Parking can be found in the surrounding side streets, as stopping directly outside the shop is tricky. The shop itself is intentionally compact — everything is designed to be taken away.
Ordering, packaging and delivery
To be sure of getting what you want, it's worth ordering ahead — you can place orders via WhatsApp, phone or Facebook. Packaging is travel-ready: products destined for a flight are carefully wrapped, with icing sugar stored separately. Forn Sant Francesc also offers delivery, including to Barcelona and Madrid.
