Description

CDM Alcúdia is a municipal sports and swimming centre in Alcúdia, operated by Gesport Balear.

Swimming, Fitness and More

CDM Alcúdia has two swimming pools, including a 25-metre pool with marked lanes for lap swimming. The facilities are complemented by a fitness area, studio spaces, a cycling room and four padel courts. A sauna and a Turkish bath round off the aquatic offering. The centre partners with Les Mills for its guided activities programme, with Technogym for the fitness floor, and with the Royal Swimming Federation for the "Swimming is Life" initiative.

Classes and Guided Activities

A broad timetable of guided activities is on offer, including cycling, Zumba, Aqua Zumba, Pilates, spinning, yoga and dance. Children's swimming lessons are also available. School swimming sessions take place on a regular basis and may occupy individual lanes at certain times.

Facilities and Upkeep

The centre is functional and focused on training. The pool water is kept clean, and the showers, toilets and changing rooms are well maintained. The building itself is showing its age, though refurbishment work is carried out on an ongoing basis — most recently the padding on all fitness equipment was replaced and the sauna was fully renovated. A swimming cap is compulsory in the pool.

Value for Money

Value for money is consistently strong. A single-entry ticket sits comfortably in the single-digit euro range, making CDM Alcúdia an accessible training option in the north of Mallorca.

Location and Getting There

CDM Alcúdia is situated on Via de Corneli Àtic in Alcúdia. An accessible entrance and an accessible car park are both available on site.
