Golf Son Gual Mallorca

Description

Golf Son Gual is an 18-hole golf course set across 156 hectares in Palma, complete with a clubhouse and a Mediterranean terrace restaurant.

Course Layout and Design

The course spans 156 hectares and was designed by Thomas Himmel. The layout is varied and challenges players of every ability: a striking number of strategically placed bunkers define the character of the course, while water hazards make precision an absolute must. Fairways and greens are maintained to an excellent standard. From many of the holes, you enjoy sweeping views across the course, out over Palma, and towards the sea and the island's mountains.

Practice Facilities

The training infrastructure includes a driving range alongside dedicated areas for the short game, bunker practice, and putting. The practice facilities are comprehensive and kept in very good condition.

Clubhouse and Restaurant

The clubhouse is home to a Mediterranean restaurant with a terrace. From the terrace, you look out over the course as well as across Palma and the surrounding landscape. The kitchen and service at the restaurant receive consistently warm praise.

Location and Getting There

The course sits on the Ma-15 (Palma–Manacor) at kilometre 11.5, in the Platja de Palma i Pla de Sant Jordi area of Palma. The best way to arrive is by car; free parking is available directly on site, with additional free street parking nearby. Given the course's proximity to the airport, you can expect some aircraft overhead during busier periods.
