The ice cream at Helados Garrido is made entirely in-house — creamy, with a pronounced, natural flavour. Alongside classics such as chocolate and lemon, you'll find more unusual options like almond, pistachio, Kinder Bueno, dulce de leche, mandarin, horchata, sour apple and chocolate-orange. Pistachio and almond are particular stand-outs. Coffee drinks are also on the menu.

History and origins

Helados Garrido dates back to 1965, when Francisco Garrido Soler — a native of Jijona and a master nougat maker — founded the business with a singular focus on ice cream. Around 1970, his two sons, Francisco and José María Garrido Sánchez, took over the running of the shop.

Location

The parlour is located at Carrer del Moll 27 in Alcúdia. There is also a second branch at the nearby Port d'Alcúdia (Puerto de Alcúdia).
