Humus has a definite point of view: the textile industry is one of the most environmentally damaging sectors around, and Humus makes a deliberate stand against that. Its collections are made from natural materials, and every stage of production and design follows the principles of ethical, sustainable making. The designs are developed in-house — including pieces featuring hand-drawn animal motifs that have drawn particular praise. Alongside clothing such as T-shirts, tops and sweatshirts, the shop also stocks scarves and jewellery, all made on the premises.

Every piece is made on Mallorca — something that sets Humus apart from many other shops in tourist-heavy Palma. From the very beginning, the project has had a strong regional identity, with the range built on local design and craftsmanship rather than imported mass-produced goods.
