Description

Imprenta Nueva Balear is a print workshop in Palma that has been practising the craft of graphic arts since 1913, blending early-20th-century machinery with modern digital presses.

A printing craft since 1913

Founded by a German company, Imprenta Nueva Balear has been running almost without interruption ever since. Today the fourth generation of the Aguiló family runs the business, combining traditional printing techniques with modern digital methods. The house motto is "combination is the key" — offset and digital printing are woven together depending on the job at hand.

What's on offer

The range spans business cards, invitations and postcards through to laser cutting, methacrylate, boards and magnets, as well as original gift items. For wedding invitations, the team guides you from the first idea right through to the finished printed sheet — including sample creation, rounds of corrections and design proposals. An in-house graphic designer develops a variety of layout options. Vintage posters from the archive are also available to purchase.

A museum-worthy atmosphere

Inside the workshop you'll find restored antique printing presses, historic machinery and typesetting collections — a living environment that feels every bit like a museum. The walls reflect four generations of graphic art, making this a genuine draw for anyone with a passion for the history of print.
