Jaume Orejuela was born in Pollença in 1981 and works as a multidisciplinary artist. His exhibition "Una Cosa no Lleva l'Altra", shown at the Galeria Dionís Bennàssar, brought together paintings, sculptures, drawings and watercolours. The concept behind the show is a juxtaposition of two ways of seeing images — for which Orejuela researched more than 150,000 images, both digitally generated and created using painterly techniques. His motto: "Informació com art, art com informació."

His studio is located at Carrer de l'Horta 24 in Pollença — a space he shares with his partner, artist Joana Esteva, who specialises in contemporary printmaking. Alongside his own practice, Orejuela teaches drawing and painting for all ages at the Taller d'Art Can Xino.
