La Finestretta – Mirador del Pas des Verro is a viewpoint on the southern coast of Mallorca, within the municipality of Llucmajor.
What to expect
The viewpoint offers sweeping, dramatic sea views across sheer cliffs. The natural rock window that gives the spot its name frames the sea and rock formations in a way that many find utterly postcard-perfect. Paragliders drifting above the cliffs add an extra dimension to the panorama. La Finestretta is a purely natural spot — there's no food, drink or shopping of any kind on site.
Sunset and light
The evening sun is one of the place's real strengths: golden light washes over the rocks and sea as the sun drops towards the horizon, making the viewpoint particularly rewarding at dusk.
Descent to the shore
A path leads down from the viewpoint to the water's edge. It's steep and narrow in places, so sturdy footwear is strongly recommended. Those who make the descent are rewarded with crystal-clear water and excellent swimming conditions right along the rocky shoreline.
