Invitations as works of art
Ruth Vilchez founded La flor de Catalina and has led the studio creatively ever since. The focus is on bespoke wedding invitations and the full suite of wedding stationery — from individual invitation cards through to lined envelopes and place cards. A particular highlight of the studio's work is its use of watercolour illustrations: Ruth creates original drawings tailored to each couple, such as detailed depictions of their ceremony chapel or venue. The quality of the paper and the care given to typography are themes that come up time and again in client feedback.
Personal guidance throughout the process
Every collaboration is fully bespoke and consultative — Ruth guides her clients through the entire selection and design process. Meeting in person is by no means a requirement: a number of couples have found that working with Ruth remotely, from other regions, has been completely straightforward.
