Description

La Vida Dolça is a patisserie and bakery with a café in Palma, specialising in traditional Mallorcan baked goods.

Mallorcan Craftsmanship on Your Plate

The heart of La Vida Dolça lies in its homemade island specialities. Cremadillos are among the most celebrated offerings — available in both chocolate and cream varieties. Llonguets, the classic Mallorcan bread rolls, are served plain or filled, with options such as sobrasada and honey or camaiot and cheese. The range also includes ensaimadas, cocarrois, panades, crespells and coca de cuarto — a wonderful cross-section of Mallorca's traditional baking heritage. The coffee, too, consistently draws high praise.

A Family Tradition

La Vida Dolça is run by the two sons of master pastry chef Miquel Pujol. This branch is the family's second in Palma, carrying forward the tradition their father established.

Calm, Bright and Unfussy

The café has a reputation for being a calm and bright spot — no unnecessary frills, as one visitor aptly put it. Breakfast and merienda are the classic reasons to pop in, and you're welcome to take your order away with you too.

Where to Find It

La Vida Dolça is located at Carrer de Rosselló i Cazador 19 in the Nord neighbourhood of Palma, opposite the blood bank.
