Sa Vinya is built on a simple principle: the milk produced here is never sold — it goes entirely into their own range of cheeses. Every variety is made exclusively from raw milk drawn from the farm's own herd, an approach that gives each cheese its distinctively authentic flavour and pronounced texture. The range includes classic Mallorcan styles, among them semi-cured and fully cured hard cheeses as well as a blue cheese.
A family business run with real passion
Behind Sa Vinya is the Bennàsser family, who started out running a dairy farm — a vaqueria — before evolving the operation into artisan cheese production. Younger family members are actively involved in both production and sales, and are happy to walk you through how the cheese is made. Alongside the cheeses, the finca also offers wine, olive oil and other local produce.
