At Melampo, specialty coffee and home-made bakes take centre stage. Espresso, cappuccino and an unusually broad selection of coffees are prepared on a Faema E61. Alongside them you'll find croissants, pains au chocolat, cakes and cheesecake — all made in-house. The brunch menu features dishes such as Eggs Benedict, croffles and focaccia sandwiches. The kitchen draws on produce from the Pla mallorquín and prepares it with international flair, with plates that are carefully and thoughtfully presented. Beyond the daily café life, the venue hosts its own cultural events as well as private functions. The name also belongs to a signature drink: Melampo — apricot purée with Champagne.

A Building with History

Melampo is housed in a Modernist building from 1935, directly opposite the church in Porreres. The space comprises five rooms, a street-facing terrace, an inner patio shaded by fruit trees and seven distinct areas in total. Large-format paintings throughout the interior, combined with the historic fabric of the building and its artistic touches, give Melampo a character entirely its own. The venue can accommodate up to 120 guests.
