El Mirador is a viewpoint in Alcúdia in the north of Mallorca, offering a striking panoramic view and a characterful approach road that makes the journey as memorable as the destination.

El Mirador marks the end of the road for independent exploration — the adjoining military grounds are closed to the public, and the road simply stops here. A church set on higher ground is also within reach.

The route is popular as a cycling trip: it offers plenty of shade and the gradients are gentle. The area also has a small, rocky beach — shadeless and very hot in summer — which makes for a brief but charming stop.
