Description

Mirador de Na Clara is a viewpoint with access to a small rocky cove in Betlem, in the north-east of Mallorca.

Views and Cove

Follow the path to Mirador de Na Clara and you'll be rewarded with sweeping views across the sea and the bay below. The water in the cala is crystal-clear and turquoise, and the backdrop of rocks, cliffs and the mountain behind gives the spot its wonderfully unspoilt character. Along the route, shady stretches beneath the trees alternate with open vantage points. The cove is ideal for snorkelling and swimming, though the beach itself is pure shingle — there's no sand to speak of. Come at sunset and the light over the water is simply breathtaking.

Access and Route

The starting point is at the end of the Betlem urbanisation: after the road barrier, follow the wide but very rough track for around 200 metres. At two large information boards, bear left or continue straight ahead — do not take the wide path to the right. Sturdy footwear and a head for heights are essential: the descent to the cove is partly steep and rocky, and loose stones and the risk of rockfall mean you need to tread carefully. The peaceful, off-the-beaten-track feel of the place makes a real contrast to busier stretches of coastline — though during peak periods such as August, even this little cove can fill up.

Location & Getting Here

Mirador de Na Clara is located on Avinguda Colon, 07579, in the Betlem urbanisation. Roadside parking is available nearby, though finding a space can take some patience during high season.
