Description

The Mirador de sa Roca is a birdwatching hide in the S'Albufera Nature Park near Muro.

Watching & Photography

The enclosed wooden hide opens at the front via a series of hatches, revealing views across the wetland. Waterbirds take centre stage — including herons, egrets and flamingos. Conditions for nature photography are excellent, particularly when the hatches face directly over the water. With a little patience, a remarkable variety of waterbirds can be spotted.

Nature Park & Atmosphere

The hide sits just beyond the visitor centre and is one of several viewpoints dotted throughout the park. Tranquillity and an undisturbed natural backdrop define the setting. The evening hours also bring stunning sunsets over the protected landscape. It is customary to register at the visitor centre before heading out along the park's paths.

Getting There

The Mirador is located in the municipality of Muro (07458), set within the S'Albufera Nature Park. Further information about the park is available via the official Balearic Government website: caib.es.
