Description

The Mirador de Selva is a viewpoint perched above the village centre of Selva, in the heart of Mallorca's interior.

Views & Atmosphere

From the Mirador de Selva, the panorama stretches across the village of Selva, Inca and the Pla de Mallorca, with the Serra de Tramuntana rising in the distance. The ruins of a hermitage — known in some sources as the Ermita de Cristo Rey — are the defining feature of the site; the building is cordoned off and cannot be entered. The spot has a peaceful, unhurried feel, though litter around the bins does take the edge off the setting.

Picnic & Barbecue Area

Alongside the viewpoint itself, there is a dedicated picnic and barbecue area with tables, benches and fire pits. There is no drinking water or toilet facilities on site, so do bring everything you need with you.

Getting There & Location

The Mirador is located in Selva (07313). The approach winds through narrow, often steep lanes where two cars can rarely pass — if you don't know the way, a GPS or navigation app is a sensible idea. The viewpoint can also be reached on foot from Selva village centre.
