Mirador Parque Natural de Levante
Description
The Mirador Parque Natural de Levante is a viewpoint in the municipality of Artà, offering sweeping panoramic views across the north-east coast of Mallorca and the sea.
Views & Landscape
From the mirador, the eye travels across valleys, mountains and an unspoilt natural landscape completely free of buildings. The sea and the nearby bay of Cala Torta sit squarely in your sightline. After dark, the coastal lights of Menorca and Cala Rajada are visible in the distance. The panoramic scenery is considered particularly photogenic.
On Site
A small refreshment stall at the viewpoint sells local produce: fresh smoothies, juices, lemonade, snacks and regional foods — including souvenirs from the area. The stall operates seasonally and is most reliably present during the warmer months.
Location & Getting There
The mirador lies in the 07579 Artà municipal area, along the road towards Cala Torta. The access road is narrow; for the final stretch down to Cala Torta beach, a four-wheel-drive or high-clearance vehicle is recommended. Parking is available, including space for vans and motorhomes with room to stay overnight. Motorcyclists particularly enjoy the winding approach road.
Who Should Stop Here
The mirador makes an excellent stop on the way to the coast. Families with children are very welcome. Those who fancy exploring the nature reserve on foot will find walking routes in the surrounding area.
