Miraturador is a viewpoint in Valldemossa, nestled within the holm oak woodland of the Tramuntana mountains.

A Viewpoint with History

The Mirador des Tudons is one of several viewpoints commissioned by Archduke Ludwig Salvador. A stone staircase leads up to a slightly raised platform, from which you can take in views of his castle at Miramar, as well as Sa Foradada and Son Marroig. Dense holm oaks surround the mirador — which explains why the platform is elevated, though the trees can also limit the views down to the coastline.

Walking & Route

A popular route heads via the Ermita de la Trinitat to the mirador and back — a circular walk that walkers describe as relaxed and perfectly manageable with children. The paths are mostly loose gravel and rocky underfoot. If you fancy extending the walk, you can continue on towards Ses Ermites Velles. The area opposite the restaurant Can Costa is the recommended starting point; if you're arriving by car, the petrol station nearby is the place to park.
