Description
Moca is a café and coffee shop in the Ponent neighbourhood of Palma, serving coffee, home-made pastries and a range of savoury dishes.
Coffee, tostadas & Argentine sweet treats
Coffee is the beating heart of Moca — widely regarded as excellent by regulars. If you fancy something to eat alongside it, there are tostadas (including avocado toast with a poached egg) and empanadas in several varieties, such as meat or spinach. The Argentine-inspired baking is a real standout: alfajores and dulce de leche desserts get a consistent mention, and everything has the quality of being genuinely home-made. Plant-based milk for coffee drinks is also available.
More than just breakfast
Moca covers the day from breakfast through to the evening. As well as coffee and pastries, the menu stretches to savoury options such as pizza, and a daily set lunch is on offer. The value for money is something guests are keen to point out.
Atmosphere & crowd
The café has a warm, welcoming feel that draws in locals and neighbourhood regulars alike, including office workers from the surrounding area. The vibe is relaxed and homely, and the space is well suited to families and groups.
In the Ponent neighbourhood
Moca is located at Carrer de Francesc Martí i Móra 3A in the Ponent district of Palma. The street is lively in the mornings; there is a pavement out front, though no separate cycle lane.
