Description
Nata The Cook is a small, entirely plant-based patisserie and bakery in the heart of Palma's old town.
Plant-based baking at its best
Everything at Nata The Cook is plant-based — from brownies, cookies and cakes to cinnamon rolls, as well as savoury options such as tostadas, focaccia and courgette coca. There's a strong focus on gluten-free baking: the majority of the range is gluten-free, and lactose-free alternatives are available too. A selection of coffee specialities is served alongside — from espresso and lattes to iced Americano and oat milk coffee. Milk alternatives are always on hand for anyone who needs them.
Homemade, carefully crafted
The baked goods are made with evident care: not overly sweet, freshly prepared and made from natural ingredients. The brownie, carrot cake, apple crumble and coconut macaroon are among the standout treats. There's a savoury side to things as well — think avocado toast and a scrambled tofu tostada.
In the Casco Antiguo of Palma
The shop sits at Carrer de la Carnisseria 9, right in the old-town quarter of Centre in Palma. Tucked into the narrow lanes of the Casco Antiguo, it's a central spot yet pleasantly removed from the main tourist thoroughfares. Space to sit inside is limited, but both takeaway and a delivery service are available.
