Particularly well regarded are the pa moreno — the island's dark country loaf —, ensaimadas in a variety of styles, and cremadillos filled with either pastry cream or pumpkin jam. Palmeras, croissants, and both savoury and sweet empanadas also feature on the shelves. If you're after something truly regional, you'll find coca de trempó here too — a lightly spiced vegetable flatbread — alongside coca de crema cremada.
