Description

The Parc Natural Maritimoterrestre Es Trenc – Salobrar de Campos is a protected coastal and marine nature reserve near Colònia de Sant Jordi in the south of Mallorca.

Nature & Protected Area

The reserve brings together a remarkable system of beach, dunes and salt flats (Salobrar), harbouring exceptional ecological diversity. It is home to Posidonia oceanica seagrass meadows, primary frontal dunes and stabilised dune areas. A permit is required to walk any of the trails within the park.

The Beach

Es Trenc beach is within easy walking distance of the car park — roughly a five-minute stroll. The left-hand stretch of the beach tends to be quieter, whilst further to the right you'll find a lifeguard-supervised area that's well suited to young children. Do bring your own beach kit — at the very least a sun umbrella. The beach gets particularly busy during the peak summer months.
