The star of the show is the Pastel de Pobre — a puff-pastry cake with cream and a caramelised egg-yolk crust that devoted regulars consider an absolute must. Also firmly on the menu: ensaimadas, including cream-filled varieties and those topped with toasted cream, as well as the Sant Honoré, which many guests pre-order for special occasions.
