Description

Pastisseria Forn de s'Horta is a family-run bakery with an adjoining café in the village centre of S'Horta, in the south-east of Mallorca.

Bread, Pastries & Mallorcan Specialities

The heart of the offering is the ensaimada — available filled with crema catalana, crema quemada, white chocolate, cabello de ángel or molasses, and widely regarded as one of the bakery's finest achievements. The Mallorcan wholemeal bread (pan moreno) is equally praised and considered something of a hidden gem. Alongside these classics, the bakery carries traditional bakes such as panades, cocarrois, coca de verdura and napolitanas de chocolate. Everything is made in-house.

Breakfast at the Forn

The café side revolves around the Mallorcan breakfast: freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, ensaimadas, sandwiches (bocadillos) and tomato toast all feature on the menu, along with pepitos de lomo con queso. You can sit inside in air-conditioned comfort or head out to the partly covered, partly open terrace.

In the Village of S'Horta

The bakery is located at Carrer de sa Rectoria 14 in the small village of S'Horta. Takeaway is available.
