Description
The Sala Picasso Ceràmiques is a free ceramics exhibition housed on the ground floor of Sóller's historic main railway station building, part of the Fundació Tren de l'Art.
Picasso Ceramics and Works by Miró
The Sala Picasso Ceràmiques displays fifty ceramic sculptures created by Pablo Picasso between 1947 and 1971 — plates, vessels, jugs and other ceramic pieces. In the adjoining room, the Sala Miró, you'll find lithographs, prints, etchings and paintings by Joan Miró.
Inside Sóller Railway Station
The exhibition is located at Plaça d'Espanya 6, directly on the ground floor of Sóller's main railway station building. If you're arriving by train or visiting the railway as a day out, you'll naturally pass right by it.
A Short Stop Worth Making
Admission is free. The exhibition is compact and can be explored in ten to thirty minutes — a worthwhile detour during a visit to Sóller that brings original works by two major modern artists within easy reach.
