Description

Plaça del Bestiar is a public square in Inca that serves as a gathering place for markets, events, and family outings.

Markets and Events

On Sundays, Plaça del Bestiar transforms into a flea market where you'll find second-hand goods, fresh produce, and antiques. The square really comes alive during the Dijous Bo, Inca's traditional annual fair, when it is set up for livestock exhibitions and equestrian displays. Other events, including a Christmas market, also take place here throughout the year.

Playground and Shade

A tree-lined area provides welcome shade, and a well-equipped children's playground makes the square a popular destination for families. As part of an ongoing redevelopment, there are plans to expand the play area and add a major new attraction, as well as to enlarge the central space by removing the pétanque courts and some of the existing flower beds.

Location and Surroundings

The square is located at Plaça Font Vella 6 in Inca. It forms part of the town's historic urban fabric and is included in guided heritage walks exploring Inca's cultural history.
