Platja Caló de ses Llisses
Description
Platja Caló de ses Llisses is a small, unspoilt cove near Cala Fornells on Mallorca, within the municipality of Calvià.
Water, Coast and Nature
The Caló de ses Llisses encloses a narrow inlet with a sheltered cove. The beach is made up of pebbles and shingle, framed by rocks and low cliffs. The water is crystal clear and calm — perfect for swimming and snorkelling, with plenty of fish visible just beneath the surface. Pine trees and natural woodland around the cove add shade and character. Water shoes and a padded mat are well worth bringing given the stony underfoot.
Location and Getting There
The cove sits along the Carretera de Cala Fornells in Cala Fornells, a small residential and tourist settlement bordering Peguera. You can already catch a glimpse of the Caló from the road. There is a free car park nearby, though spaces are limited and fill up early. The cove is also within easy walking distance from Peguera.
Facilities and Practical Tips
There are no facilities on site — no showers or toilets. The Caló is family-friendly and well suited to children. As there is no infrastructure at the beach itself, it is well worth packing everything you need before you head down.
