Platja de Can Cap de Bou is a long, narrow sandy beach in the north of Mallorca, with views of the surrounding mountains.

The beach impresses with fine sand, turquoise-blue water and well-kept facilities. The entry into the water is shallow and gently sloping, though venture a little further out and it deepens fairly quickly. Sunshades and sunloungers are available to hire, and showers are on hand too.

When the wind picks up, the beach becomes a playground for windsurfers and kitesurfers. Stand-up paddleboarding and pedal boats round out the range of water activities on offer.

A string of cafés and restaurants lines the promenade. Just steps from the beach you'll also find shops where you can stock up on food, drinks and beach essentials.
Views and atmosphere
The beach is comparatively spacious, offering plenty of room even during busier spells. The views of the surrounding mountains — and, on a clear day, of Cap de Formentor — are among the highlights of this stretch of coastline. During the week, the atmosphere is particularly laid-back.
