Platja de Can Curt
Description
Platja de Can Curt is a small, unspoilt sandy cove in Ses Salines, in the south of Mallorca.
A quiet cove with a fishermen's charm
Can Curt welcomes you with calm, crystal-clear water and an untouched atmosphere that feels worlds away from modern life. A handful of old fishermen's huts line the cove, lending it a timeless, unhurried character. The water is beautifully clear and well suited to snorkelling — beneath the surface you'll find rocks and fish to explore. The sandy beach itself is tiny; even a small group of people fills it noticeably. After storms or heavy swell, driftwood and debris can wash ashore.
Arriving on foot
Platja de Can Curt sits along the coastal path between Platja d'es Dolç and Platja d'es Carbó, and also on the route between Port de Sa Colònia de Sant Jordi and Platja d'es Carbó. Unless you're a local resident, the cove is reached on foot. The path runs alongside a nature reserve and is interrupted in places by short rocky stretches — sturdy footwear is recommended if you're not planning to go barefoot.
A natural beach with no facilities
Can Curt is a true natural beach: there are no facilities on site whatsoever. The shade of the fishermen's huts is available if you need a break from the sun. The rocks in the water mean the cove is only partially suitable for children. Naturism is practised here.
