Platja de Ca'n Picafort
Description
Platja de Ca'n Picafort is a sandy beach in Can Picafort, a coastal resort on the northern shore of Mallorca.
Shallow Water & Sandy Shore
The seabed shelves very gently over a long stretch, keeping the water warm and making it perfectly suited to non-swimmers. The beach itself is narrow but runs along the coastline and is entirely sandy. After storms or in certain weather conditions seaweed can wash ashore; in calm weather the water is clear and blue. The beach is lifeguarded and has free showers and toilets. Sun loungers and parasols are available to hire for a fee.
Who the Beach Suits
Families with children benefit most from the exceptionally shallow entry into the water. Along the promenade you'll find restaurants, bars and shops. Early mornings and evenings — whether for a stroll or a sunrise swim — are particularly highlighted by regular visitors.
Location
The beach sits at Escull d'en Barret in Can Picafort, a coastal settlement in the north of the island. The seafront promenade runs directly alongside.
