Description

Platja de Sa Mesquida is a sweeping sandy beach in the north-east of Mallorca, nestled in a bay of rolling dunes and brilliant turquoise water.

Beach & Water

Fine pale sand, a generous stretch of shoreline and that signature turquoise water make Sa Mesquida one of the most striking beaches in the north-east of the island. The water is shallow and the entry gradual — the sea stays calm and walkable for a good distance out. On breezy days a solid swell builds up, appealing equally to surfers and those happily bobbing on inflatables. The natural backdrop of dunes and rocks remains largely unspoilt and gives the bay its distinctive character.

Facilities on the Beach

Sun loungers and parasols are available to hire, and they're spread out more generously than at many other beaches on the island. There's also a pedalo and stand-up paddleboard hire service. A beach bar is on site. At the far end of the beach there is a naturist area. A lifeguard is on duty.
