Description

Platja de Santa Margalida is a fine-sand natural beach in the north of Mallorca, stretching along a bay and bordering a protected nature reserve.

Sand, Water and Nature

Fine sand, crystal-clear turquoise water and a gently sloping shoreline define this beach. The water is very shallow and deepens only gradually, so you can wade out quite a distance before it gets deeper. The beach is wide, stretches over several kilometres and adjoins a nature reserve — the unspoilt character of the surroundings is immediately palpable. Along the shoreline you'll find chiringuitos and restaurants where you can eat and drink. Showers are also available.

Lifeguard Service and Beach Facilities

Lifeguards are on duty at the beach. For those with reduced mobility, an accessible boardwalk platform and a beach wheelchair are available. Sun loungers and parasols can be hired for a fee.

Getting There

The beach lies within the municipality of Santa Margalida in the north of Mallorca, close to Can Picafort. A car park is within easy walking distance.
