Description

Platja d'en Sales is an unspoilt cove near Valldemossa on Mallorca — rugged, peaceful, and well off the beaten tourist track.

Pebbles, Seaweed and Clear Water

The beach is made up of pebbles and shaped by natural seaweed, which occasionally forms small algae banks along the shoreline. The water is clear, though conditions can vary depending on the weather — there are occasional reports of jellyfish and reduced visibility. Water shoes are strongly recommended given the stony seabed. A small boat hire is available on site.

Getting There & Parking

The approach road is extremely narrow and winding. There is a car park directly below the beach, though it falls within a paid parking zone and has very limited spaces — when it's busy, roadside parking may be your only option.

Who Is It For?

This cove is quiet and largely undeveloped for tourism. It's a great fit for families with children as well as anyone looking for a raw, natural stretch of coastline. There is no bar or catering on site, so come prepared.
