Playa de Cala Santanyí
Description
Playa de Cala Santanyí is a sandy beach in the south-east of Mallorca, nestled in a cove between two dramatic rock faces.
Beach & Water
The fine sandy beach curves into a sheltered cove framed by two towering rock walls. The water is crystal clear and well suited to snorkelling. The beach can get busy as the day goes on — if you fancy making the most of the sun later in the afternoon, head to the left-hand side, as the sun dips behind the right side of the beach earlier in the evening.
Food, Drink & Facilities
Three restaurants sit right on the beach, some offering shaded seating — a real bonus if you'd rather not spend the entire day in direct sunlight. Bars and cafés are also on hand, and you'll find toilets on site as well.
Getting There
The beach is located in Cala Santanyí, close to Carrer Cova des Drac in the municipality of Santanyí, with the charming town of Santanyí just a short distance away. A car park sits directly beside the beach.
