The terminal has numbered single-file lanes for vehicle queuing, along with an air-conditioned waiting area. Foot passengers and those travelling as passengers in a vehicle must complete check-in on foot, while drivers are processed separately — a rule that tends to catch some travellers off guard. There are no catering facilities at the terminal; a drinks vending machine is the only refreshment option on site.

Finding Your Way Around

Some travellers find the boarding signage less than clear, and announcements are widely reported to be difficult to hear or understand. If you're arriving by public transport, give yourself plenty of time — it's around a 19-minute walk from the Port Alcúdia bus stop to the Maritime Station.
