Summit & Views

From the top of Puig des Tossals Verds, the views stretch in every direction — across large swathes of Mallorca, over the Gorg Blau reservoir, towards Alaró and its valleys, and all the way to Puig Major and Massanella. The panorama is the real reward of the climb, and more than makes up for the effort of the ascent.

Routes & Navigation

A popular approach follows a water channel up to a signpost, from where cairns guide you onward through the holm oak forest. Official waymarking is completely absent in this upper section. The ascent via the north-east face is considered straightforward and well walkable, whereas the north-west route through the gorge is regarded as technically demanding and dangerous. Those completing the circular walk on the GR221 pass the Refugi de Tossals Verds at roughly the halfway point, which can also be used as an overnight stop.

Where to Find It
