Purple Haze Vinyl & Fuzz is an independent record shop in the heart of Palma, combining a carefully curated vinyl selection with guitar pedals and music merchandise.

At the core of the shop are new and second-hand records, with a strong focus on Stoner Rock, Doom, Heavy Psych and Metal in its many forms. There's also a solid Jazz and Blues section. Rounding things out, you'll find guitar and bass pedals, turntables, and a range of merchandise including T-shirts, stickers, books, zines, prints, patches and tote bags. Particularly worth noting is the selection of records from local Mallorcan and Spanish bands — titles you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else.

Location & Getting There

The shop is located at Carrer de la Posada de la Real 2, Bajos, in the centre of Palma. Tucked down a side street, it's easy enough to find and perfectly reachable on foot.

Purple Haze is compact and full of character — band posters, dedicated shelf sections for specific labels and a well-thought-out layout make for a proper browsing experience. The shop also has a small live space for local artists.

Owner David is the vocalist in a Stoner Rock band and brings genuine musical knowledge to every conversation. He'll spin a record before you buy it, offer recommendations on local music, and happily dig through the shelves alongside you. If a title isn't currently in stock, he can order it in for you.
