Description
Celler Ca'n Ripoll is a traditional Mallorcan restaurant in the heart of Inca, housed in a historic listed building that originally served as a wine cellar.
History & Atmosphere
The building on Carrer d'en Jaume Armengol dates back to 1768 and holds national heritage-listed status. What began as a wine cellar — where the workers of Inca once drew their wine — is now a remarkable restaurant, with all of its original character beautifully intact. Centuries-old wine barrels still define the space, preserving the authentic feel of a traditional celler. A leafy inner courtyard adds a tranquil setting for dining.
Cuisine & Menu
The menu celebrates classic Mallorcan home cooking. Paella — including the paella ciega — is among the most popular choices, alongside lechona (suckling pig) and squid dishes such as cuttlefish with sobrasada. Almond-based desserts are a firm fixture to finish. The wine list features local producers, including estates from the Tramuntana and Son Bordils. The à la carte menu also takes in a variety of rice dishes, frito mallorquín, croquettes, calamares, and tumbet.
Location & Getting There
The restaurant is located in the centre of Inca at Carrer d'en Jaume Armengol 4. Free on-street parking is available nearby. Booking in advance is recommended.
