Restaurante Miramar is a Mediterranean fish restaurant right on the harbour of Alcúdia – family-run for over a hundred years and passed down through several generations of the same family.

Tradition and Cuisine

The history of Miramar stretches back to 1871, when the ancestors of today's owners first received permission to build a modest house on the road to Puerto de Alcúdia – as recorded in the municipal archives. What began as a simple inn is now a fish restaurant with a distinctly Mediterranean character. The menu features paella in several varieties – including seafood paella, mixed paella, fideuà and fish paella – alongside grilled fish, seafood platters and prawns with garlic. Particularly worth trying is the whole fish baked in a salt crust, which is filleted at the table.

Atmosphere and Views

The restaurant sits right on the harbour basin of Puerto Alcúdia, and the terrace offers a direct view over the water. Tables are available inside, outside and across the street. The harbour setting plays a central role in what makes this place special.

Miramar is located on Paseo Marítimo 2 in Alcúdia. Free parking is available near the bridge, from where the restaurant is easily reached on foot. Free on-street parking can also be found right in the surrounding area.
