Sa Moleta rises above the Balitx d'Avall valley in a bold and commanding fashion. The summit itself cannot be reached without climbing equipment and the relevant experience, as no regular walking path leads all the way to the top.

Part of the ascent can be tackled on the official long-distance trail, which passes beneath the summit via the Coll de Beniamar mountain pass. If climbing isn't your thing, this stretch still rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views of the landscape surrounding Sa Moleta.
