Salza Bar y Catering is a bar and catering service in Porto Cristo, bringing Spanish, Mexican and German cuisine together under one roof.

Food & Drink

At Salza, the chef cooks everything himself — and you can taste the difference. The menu ranges from German classics such as beef roulades, currywurst, roast pork crackling and Martinmas goose to tapas, fajitas and a selection of Spanish and Mexican dishes. Cheesecake and almond cake are made in-house, as is a hearty chicken soup. There's also an impressive range of beers and excellent wines. If you have something specific in mind, bespoke menus can be arranged with enough notice — Klaus has previously put together a tapas buffet for a finca birthday celebration.

Atmosphere & Hosts

The place has a wonderfully cosy, down-to-earth atmosphere. Klaus runs both the bar and the kitchen alongside Míriam, and together they create a warm, personal welcome. The décor is colourful and eclectic — embrace it and you'll find yourself having a relaxed evening with a host who always has a good story to tell. The value for money is genuinely fair.
