Description
The Schwarzwald Cafè is a family-run café in Peguera, situated right on the coast, and has been one of the village's firm favourites since 1986.
Home-baked cakes, ice cream and coffee
The heart of the Schwarzwald Cafè is its very own patisserie: every cake and gateau is baked fresh on the premises each day. The Black Forest cherry cake, cheesecake, strawberry tart, cream cakes, almond cake and salted caramel cake all stand out as particular highlights. The ice cream — made with locally sourced fruit and Mallorcan milk — draws regulars back time and again. Coffee is taken seriously here, too, with a carefully chosen selection of speciality coffees on the menu.
Breakfast and savoury dishes
Alongside the café classics, the kitchen turns out freshly made sandwiches, salads and a generous breakfast spread every day, rounded off with a selection of further savoury dishes.
Location: right by the sea in Peguera
The café sits at Bulevar de Peguera 76 in Peguera. Its position directly beside the beach and bay, with views out to sea, is something guests mention time and again. A paid underground car park adjoins the building, making it easy to arrive by car.
Family-run since 1986
The Schwarzwald Cafè has been in family ownership in Peguera since it was founded in 1986, and came to wider public attention through the TV series Goodbye Deutschland – Die Auswanderer. Many guests have been coming back year after year — some for decades.
