Description
Son Marge is a finca hotel in the rural south of Mallorca, bringing together a family area and a separate adults-only area under one roof.
Property & Atmosphere
Son Marge is made up of low-rise, Mediterranean-style buildings set within a well-kept, leafy grounds full of cosy nooks and shady spots. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed — the only interruption being the occasional car passing on the road outside. Two outdoor pools are available, one of which is exclusively for adults in the adults-only area.
Rooms & Apartments
The hotel offers rooms, suites and apartments. The units in the adults-only area are rustic yet fully equipped, complete with a fridge and microwave. The junior suites and apartments are spacious, clean and comfortable.
Breakfast & Themed Evenings
Breakfast is varied and consistently well received — fresh fruit, eggs, pastries, cheese and cold cuts all feature. In the evenings, the restaurant hosts regular themed nights, including BBQ and paella evenings that go down particularly well. The à la carte dinner menu is considered less of a highlight by some.
Activities & Leisure
Families are well catered for, with a children's pool, playground, mini-golf course, tennis court, table tennis, toys and animals on site — an offering that makes Son Marge a great choice for longer stays with children.
Location & Surroundings
The hotel sits on the Carretera Campos at km 6.3 (07630), in the rural south of the island. A hire car is recommended for getting around. Nearby beaches and villages such as Colònia de Sant Jordi and Ses Salines are easily reachable by car. On-site parking is available.
