At the heart of Son Mesquidassa is a modern, well-equipped oil mill where olive oil is produced entirely on the estate. The farm shop stocks a range of olive oils that you can taste before you buy. The quality is excellent, and buying direct from the estate works out considerably cheaper than supermarket prices on Mallorca.

Tours & Tastings

Son Mesquidassa offers guided tours of the production facilities. The visit kicks off with an introductory film about olive cultivation and oil production — available in German on request. Afterwards you're welcome to taste a selection of oils. Tours should be arranged in advance by phone or email, though last-minute requests can often be accommodated. The harvest takes place in October, so if you'd like to see the mill in full swing, it's worth timing your visit accordingly.

The Estate

The estate spreads across sweeping olive groves set in a peaceful, unspoilt landscape. The sales area is attractively presented, and the grounds as a whole are well-kept and generously laid out.

Son Mesquidassa is located on the Camí de Son Mesquida near Felanitx (07209). One important note: Google Maps uses an incorrect address for the estate. Access is only via the Camí de Son Mesquida — simply follow the signposts along the route. There is a large car park on site. If nobody seems to be around when you arrive, give them a quick ring to let them know you're there.
