Description

Son Moro is a sandy beach on the east coast of Mallorca, also known as Cala Millor and Cala Nau.

Fine Sand and Clear Water

The beach boasts fine, pale sand and beautifully clear, transparent water. On the right-hand side of the bay, the sand gives way to stones. Towards the front of the beach the sand is looser and less compacted, which can make pitching your own parasol tricky — in breezy conditions, umbrellas are liable to blow over. Further back, sun loungers and parasols are available to hire, though numbers are limited, so it's worth arriving early to secure a spot.

Crowds & Atmosphere

Son Moro has a reputation for being clean and well kept, though it gets very busy during the summer months. Those in search of a quieter experience will find it far more peaceful outside the peak season — late October or the winter months are ideal. The beach is well suited to families, and roaming vendors offer massages and drinks along the shore.

Location

The beach sits in Son Moro, postcode 07560, on the east coast of the Balearic Islands. The bay stretches between Costa dels Pins and Sa Punta de n'Amer.
