Description

Surry Hills is an Australian-inspired brunch restaurant and speciality coffee café in the heart of Palma.

Australian Brunch Culture in Palma

Surry Hills brings Australia's coffee and brunch culture to Palma. The concept was born in 2019 in Buenos Aires, shaped by Argentine and Australian coffee culture, before expanding to Palma de Mallorca. Speciality coffee is a clear hallmark here — coffee in every form, whether a cappuccino, café con leche or espresso tonic, is consistently celebrated by the community.

Food & Coffee

The menu features Australian-inspired brunch dishes. French toast, Reuben sandwich, avocado toast and salmon toast are all standout recommendations. The café also offers vegetarian and vegan options alongside gluten-free alternatives, including gluten-free bread and gluten-free toasties. The coffee for the Palma outpost is roasted by the in-house Coffee Lab, HOTTO.

Atmosphere

The space is small and minimalist in style. It sits at a slightly sunken, almost semi-basement level and has a darker feel — very much a matter of personal taste. There is no outdoor seating.

Location & Getting Here

The café is located at Carrer del Carme 12 in the Centre neighbourhood of Palma (07003). The address sits on a side street and is easily reached on foot from the city centre.

Good to Know

Takeaway is available. The entrance, toilets and seating are all fully accessible. Families with young children are expressly welcome. During busy periods, wait times for food may be a little longer.
